- ap802 - AP embedded in 819, 812, 886VA-W/887VA-W, C88x and C88x routers
- ap801 - AP embedded in 861W, most 88xW, and 1911W routers
- apw5100 - Rockwell Stratix 5100 WAPAK9, WAPCK9, WAPEK9, WAPZK9
- c1570 - 1570 series outdoor APs
- c1520 - 1550 and 1520 series mesh APs
- c1410 - BR1410
- c1310 - BR1310
- c1250 - 1250 series APs

- featureset- the set of software features supported by the image - one of:
- k9w7 - 自制系统IOS，也就是我们常说的胖AP系统
- k9w8 - 完整功能的瘦AP系统 (这个os也同样打包在WLC的.aes 系统文件里，和出厂AP是mesh的AP也会安装这个系统)
- rcvk9w8 - lightweight recovery image - 这个也是出厂安装的版本, 除非选择了"mesh"AP; 这个版本无无线radio功能。
- boot - bootloader image (not IOS) - 通常是出厂安装好的，不提供升级。
- version- the IOS version
- 如果是瘦AP,AP版本与WLC的版本有一个1对1的对应 (例如12.4(23c)JA) 对应CUWN version (7.0.98.0)

- Platform: c1240: 1240 series AP
- Featureset: k9w7: autonomous IOS
